2016 Florida Prep Scout:

I don't know if anyone has seen Lotito pitch for Nature Coast but that kid is the real deal. When you look at him you would never think he is as good as he is. He plays like he is 6'5 - 240. His pitching stat line for the 2016 Prep season is an eye popping 5-0 with 3 saves all against the top teams. He would actually be 6-0 if the Sharks didn't let one slip by the 2nd game of the season.

The speedy 2nd baseman/RHP who has been remarkable with the glove also scored 25 runs has now gotten on the radar of top D1 schools who love what they see. One report stated Lotito is a complete baseball player with a very high baseball IQ & the ability to impact a game in many different ways regardless of his size.

Because of his size, ability to perform under pressure & prove critics wrong Lotito has drawn comparisons to one of his favorite MLB players Marcus Stroman type of 2 way ability at the Division 1 level.

Six times this year he has brought the Sharks back to win on the mound with 3 Big saves in what some people would call pressure situations.

To Lotito it's like he has ice water in his veins. He seems to thrive under pressure in the biggest moments.
